Join us for a meet and greet with members of the Columbia College Chicago Animation Association (CCCAA) as well as Columbia College Animation Faculty. In this event, we will have the opportunity to introduce ourselves to other students and teachers, learn more about the Animation Association, and ask any questions you may have about Columbia College Chicago animation classes. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and come learn what the CCCAA has in store for this semester.

Tab Murphy is a screenwriter who has worked in movies and television. He is best known for his work writing Disney movies, such as Tarzan, Brother Bear, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Atlantis: The Lost Empire, as well as for directing Last of the Dogmen. Join us for a panel with Tab as he speaks on his experiences in the screenwriting industry as well as a Q&A!

Ridge Hirano is a storyboard artist and character designer. He's worked as a production intern at Cartoon Network then later as a digital production assistant on Infinity Train. Join us for a Q&A panel with Ridge as he answers any questions about breaking into the industry and his work on Cartoon Network.

Saman Moayer is a part-time faculty member with columbia college of chicago who also works in the commercial rendering industry. He is currently the Art Director with Farm Creative Parlor in the city, which creates 3d renderings of products for commercial & advertising use. Topology is an important part of 3D animation! It allows character models to move fluidly, and also makes models take up less space! Join us for a lecture on the importance of good topology and some tips and tricks to make your topology cleaner! It doesn't matter if you are a 3D Modeler or Animator, you should understand why topology holds such an important role in the 3D animation world!
