The CTVA Hub is a student-to-student help desk. Our goal is to be a place where students can go when they don't know where to go. It can be overwhelming trying to find resources and make connections at large institutions. Questions? We'll answer them. Ideas? We'll listen. Just looking for a friendly face to chat with? We're here and we have candy! The CTVA Hub is comprised of upperclassmen who have a handle on the Columbia experience and want to help share their knowledge. We are located at the Northeast corner of the 3rd Floor of 1104 S. Wabash, left of the elevators.

At Columbia College Chicago, all undergraduate students complete requirements of the Columbia Core Curriculum, which provides a solid foundation in the liberal arts and sciences. The Honors Program offers an enhanced core curriculum experience tailored to our high-achieving undergraduate students who seek a greater academic challenge.

Honors Program Requirements, and to receive the designation of Honors Program Graduate on the final transcript:
*Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or greater
*Complete 15 credit hours of Honors courses

Honors courses are open to any student who maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or greater, as long as they have met course prerequisites, and regardless of whether they are declared into the Honors Program.

You'll be in a classroom with other students who, like you, are eager for an intense intellectual experience with deeper levels of inquiry, and you'll study with faculty who have heightened expectations of student work and engagement. Your Honors participation will also show up in official college transcripts, giving you a leg up when you market yourself after graduation.

The collaborative opportunities that come with being a part of the Honors Program aren't just found in the classroom. Honors students are eligible to live on Honors-only floors in our residence halls, which also have resident assistants who are in the Honors Program too. Honors students also are invited to attend exclusive social events and educational trips around the city, participate in Honors-only activities on campus, and study and socialize in the Honors Program Study Lounge.

The Honors Program Senior Reception is held the week prior to Commencement and celebrates the achievements of graduating Columbia students with friends, family, and Honors faculty.

The mission of the Columbia College Chicago Library is to support Columbia College Chicago and its academic programs by providing access to information resources and teaching students to evaluate and use them. Our Library has a teaching mission, and is committed to preparing our users to be lifelong learners in an information rich society. Discover articles, e-books, data, museum quality images, streaming music and films, and much more, all selected to support and enrich your creative, academic, and entrepreneurial work. Ask us for your course texts available electronically or on reserve in the library. In the library space, find computers, Wepa printers, scanners, quiet areas, and study rooms. Borrow from our arts-focused book collection or our media & equipment collection that includes cameras, camcorders, projectors, microphones, and phone chargers; all of these services are available via appointment.

Participate in programming focused on library collections that both inspires and supports your creative work and connects you to campus and city-wide communities of practice.

The Hokin is a professional gallery operated by Columbia College Chicago students enrolled in the Gallery Management Practicum. This course offers hands-on experience in the development, curation, installation, and operation of exhibitions, programs, and events. It is a student-run collaboration between the Business and Entrepreneurship department and the department of Exhibitions, Performance, and Student Spaces (DEPS) at Columbia College Chicago.

The mission of TRIO Student Support Services (TRIO) is for students to actualize their maximum potential and persist toward graduation. The objective of TRIO is to provide support that not only promotes the well-being of students, but also assist them toward achieving personal and academic goals. TRIO Student Support Services is a federally funded program.

TRIO serves students who are:

(1) First generation college students or
(2) Income eligible students or
(3) Students who have disabilities
